You can entrust Animal Medical Centre of Medina, Inc. to care for your family pet when you cannot. We offer day care and boarding on a space available basis to our clients and their pets. Our staff monitors each pet and alerts a veterinarian to any problems that might arise. If needed, a veterinarian can exam and treat your pet as necessary. Our trained staff can safely administer any medications or injections your pet would normally require at home.
Dogs are walked three times daily. Our feline friends are housed in a separate area in our hospital to reduce stress.
All areas of our kennel are the same temperature as the rest of our facility. Many of our clients opt to have routine health check-ups, surgeries, dental cleanings and grooming scheduled for their pet while they board.
All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including Bordetella for both dogs and cats. Although not required, we highly recommend vaccinating your dog against Canine Influenza (H3N8), relatively new virus potentially endemic in social situations like daycare, boarding, dog parks and grooming. Our feline friends must be current with their Leukemia vaccination. If your pet is not on a flea preventative, he/she will be given a Capstar tablet at no charge to you. Capstar® kills adult fleas that may be present on your pet. This helps us keep our kennel and your home flea free!
You are welcome to tour our facility any afternoon or Saturday. Advanced notice is requested, so we can devote time to answer any questions you might have.
