Animal
Medical Centre of Medina, Inc. offers a wide range of diagnostic
services.
Our
in-house lab is able to do hemograms and profiles, electrolytes, blood
gases and to produce stat profiles in two minutes. We have two biomicroscopes, a centrifuge and full urinalysis
capabilities.
We
have recently purchased a new Innovet Select 300 radiograph machine with
the fastest x-ray plates to obtain the highest quality radiograph.
Our
ultrasound unit gives us the greatest ability to diagnose problem cases
by looking at the heart, kidney, bladder and liver. A biopsy can be obtained without making a surgical incision.
 Endoscopy
with our Olympus endoscope enables us to look down the trachea and
esophagus. We are able to
search the stomach, small intestines and colon for foreign bodies and
tumors. Like our ultrasound unit, we can excise a biopsy with the
endoscope with no surgical incision.
Our
doctors can check for glaucoma in your pet by measuring the eye pressure
with our Tonopen.
Animal
Medical Centre of Medina, Inc. specializes in a full line of soft tissue
and orthopedic surgical procedures.
Our
surgical suite has blood pressure, respiratory and heart rate monitors,
EKG, and pulse oximeter to continuously monitor your pet during surgery. The surgery suite also features heated surgical tables, three
anesthesia machines, piped oxygen, a defribrillator, autocalve and an
incubator.
